The 25th China Economics Annual Conference (CEAC) will be held at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China on December 5-7, 2025. We plan to organize several sessions devoted to CHARLS data users and their papers.
If you have a paper utilized CHARLS data while not yet being published, you are welcome to submit to our sessions, both English and Chinese papers are welcome, CHARLS will arrange research team members to serve as discussants.
We request that you provide the following information to help with our preparation:
1. Front page: title, JEL classification numbers, economic field of the paper, abstract (about 300
words), keywords.
2. Main body of your paper.
3. Reference.
4. Author information (independent page): ordered names of authors, institution, phone number,
email, etc..
Authors are invited to submit papers via email ( users@charlsdata.com ) by 31 October, 2025. Please be reminded to indicate your name and title of your paper at email subject. Meanwhile, please indicate your institution, professional
title and contact information in the paper you would like to submit.
Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously.
You will be informed the final result of acceptance no later than November 5 . All who submit papers must commit to attending the conference if the paper is accepted. You are responsible for all expenses and register to attend, CHARLS does not provide fundings. We’ll also conduct a special training session for users at the
coference.
